Silent River by Wouter Stelwagen

On view until February 28th

From the beginning of February visitors to Republiek Gallery can view four stunning images from Wouter Stelwagen’s Chongqing series.

In these photographs of the dried Yangtze River, Stelwagen explores the peripheries of the urban landscape as a site for communion, freedom and itinerrance.

Standing in conjunction with Stelwagen’s broader oeuvre, this selection quietly considers the ebbs and flows of city living.
